In the United States the number of semester credits required to earn a master’s degree will require you to dedicate at least one year of full-time study. Types of Masters Degrees
There are two types of masters degree programs which include: Masters of Science and Masters of Arts. The Masters of Arts degree oftern requires a minimum of 30 graduate credite hours in social sciences or general studies. The Masters of Science degree is a post-baccalaureate degree that usually requires students to compete 30 graduate hours of credit in the sciences or a specific career focus (ie. Finance, Accounting, Business, etc).
