Applications for Common Entrance Test are to be filled online on the website www.comedk.org after obtaining a DD for Rs. 650/- for 3 subjects (PCM or PCB) and Rs.850/- for all 4 subjects (PCMB) in favour of COMEDK-2009, payable at Bangalore (Non refundable fee) and posted to the below given COMEDK address along with the DD and the documents asked for on or before 11/04/2009.

Note: Neither the applications forms or filled in applications will be sold or received in COMEDK Office or any Member Institutions.

Eligibility:
The candidates having Indian nationality should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination from the recognized School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50% or more marks for candidates belonging to SC / ST category, 55% or more marks for candidates belonging to CW (Defence) / Physically Handicapped category).

The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the CEE-2009.

Minimum Age : 17 years on or before‘1st October, 2009.

Bulletin of information for CEE-2009 for Delhi Region Only : The Bulletin of information containing further details, prescribed application form and syllabi for CEE-2009 can be obtained from the sale counter of the

(1) Faculty of Technology, (Delhi University), Room No. HCFF-13, First Floor (Health Centre), Delhi College of Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi -110042,

(2) Netaji Subhas institute of Technology, Sector-3, Dwarka, Papankalan, New Delhi-110078 on submission of Pay Order / Demand Draft drawn on any Bank of Rs. 400/- for General / OBC / CW category and Rs. 200/- for SC / ST/ PH category (inclusive of examination fee) on working days from Monday to Friday between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. (lunch 01:00 pm to 01:30 pm).

b) The application form can also be downloaded from www.dce.ac.in , www.nsit.ac.in The downloaded form should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 400/- for General / OBC / CW category and Rs. 200/- for SC / ST/ PH category in favour of the “Registrar, ‘ Delhi University, Delhi”.

The Bulletin of information can also be obtained by post by sending a Pay Order / Demand Draft drawn on any bank of Rs. 475/ - for General/ OBC / CW category and Rs. 275/- for SC /ST / PH (inclusive of examination fee and postal charges). Reservation of Seats: 15% seats for Scheduled Castes and 7.5% seats for Scheduled Tribes.

(a) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1991 and not later than 1st January, 1994 are eligible.

(b) Educational Qualifications :

(i) For Army Wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course of Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in 12th Class under 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this Examination.

c) Physical Standard

Candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II), 2009, as given in Appendix – V of Commissions Notice for the Examination Published in Employment News/ Rozgar Samachar dated 14yh March, 2009
Application procedure:
The Candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices / Post Offices (specified in Appendix-III of the Notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/- (Rupees twenty only). Each such Form can be used only once and only for one examination.

In case of any difficulty in obtaining Application Forms from the designated HPOs/ POs, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned Post Master or UPSC’s “FORMS SUPPLY MONITORING CELL” over Telephone No.011-23389366/ Fax No.011- 23387310.

FEE :

Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of Fee. (OBC candidates are required to pay full fee).

All applications must reach the “Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069” either by hand or by Post/Speed Post or by Courier.

(a) Candidates must be Indian Citizens.

(b) Age : Candidates must have attained 17 years of age as on 1st July, 2009. There is no upper age limit.

(c) Educational Qualification : General Candidates must pass H.S. (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination recognized by the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences with individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and Vernacular (or any other fifth subject) along with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the said qualifying examination (10+2). In respect of SC and ST candidates the aforesaid marks will be 40% instead of 50%.

Residential Criteria : Candidates must have been residing in the State of West Bengal for a minimum period of 10 (ten) years as on 31.12.2008 or their parents must be permanent residents of West Bengal having their permanent home addresses in the State of West Bengal. Residential certificate in this regard shall have to be obtained in the proforma as printed in the Application Form for EVETS-2009 from any of the competent Authorities as mentioned in the Information Sheet.
Application procedure:
Candidates intending to appear in the aforesaid Joint Entrance Examination-2009 (EVETS-2009), shall have to apply in the prescribed Application Form which along with the Information Sheet will be available w.e.f. 24.03.2009 to 24.04.2009 from the Branch Offices of UNITED BANK OF INDIA at Jadavpur, Sealdah, Hatibagan, BESUS - Howrah, Serampore, Bankura, Bardhaman, Durgapur City Centre, Medinipur, Tamluk, Krishnagar, Berhampore, Malda, Coochbehar, Siliguri, on all working days on payment of Rs. 350/- in CASH.

There is also a provision for obtaining Application Form along with Information Sheet from the Office of the BOARD through Postal request only w.e.f. 24.03.2009 by sending a Bank Draft of Rs. 400/- drawn in favour of ‘WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS BOARD’ payable at Kolkata to reach the office of the Board on or before 09.04.2009. The Application form once purchased cannot be returned or replaced.

Submission : The duly filled in Application Forms must be sent by Speed Post so as to reach the Office of the Board on or before 28.04.2009. Submission of Application Form by hand / courier service will not be accepted.
